The position you hold yourself in the water is the most important fundamental of freestyle. There are 3 aspects you need to focus on with your body position when swimming freestyle.

1. You need to be straight so you move through the water in a streamline position.

2. You need to be relaxed.

3. You need to swim IN the water going THROUGH the water moving from side to side. Not on top of the water.
